The French Cloister at The Ocean Club is a gorgeous location. It is unique in its island charm and elegance. It is one of the most popular venues for marriage proposals and weddings. I’ve shot many proposals at The Cloister. Each one is unique.

This was a truly heart warming proposal. Edward wanted his fiance to find his proposal written on a message in a Bottle. The tricky part was seamlessly pulling it off. He couldn’t bring it along because of the size. The other problem was it had to be there waiting for her to find.

Here’s what we did to solve the problems. A few weeks before the proposal I had Edward send me the Bottle via courier. On the day of the proposal, I placed the Bottle in the garden along the pathway. As planned, they stumbled across this ‘mysterious’ bottle with a message in it. The was however, one more really cool thing, the proposal message wasn’t from Edward. It was from her little brother.
