The luxurious Baha Mar Resort complex is located on Cable Beach. It is Nassau’s newest mega resort. It offers wonderful wedding and event photography options. The resort complex has 3 hotels: Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, SLS Baha Mar and Rosewood Baha Mar. Each hotel offers a unique style and charm. This resort complex has many wedding ceremony options, including: the beach, several outdoor terraces, a wedding chapel and many indoor event options. The Atlantis Paradise Island Resort is a magnificent location for weddings. It’s great for family photos as well. Located on Paradise Island this luxury mega resort is themed after the Lost City of Atlantis. It offers a variety of gorgeous locations to host weddings. There’s even a purpose built wedding ceremony and reception venue called Ocean’s Edge My favorite thing about photographing weddings at Atlantis is it has tons of wonderful photography options. The beach, unique architecture, waterfalls, greenery, aquariums, a rope bridge and river to name a few. There are lots of entertainment and dinning options for invited guests, which make Atlantis a great Venue for a large or small Destination wedding.
Albany Bahamas is an ultra high end luxury resort community on the south west coast of New Providence. This outstanding 600 acre community is like no other in the Bahamas. The Four Seasons Ocean Club is an elegant luxury resort, located on the north shore of Paradise Island. It sits on a gentle slope overlooking the best stretch of beach in Nassau. It’s a wonderful location for weddings and outdoor events. From a photography stand point The Ocean Club is very rich in options: beach, palm trees and well manicured greenery are available. By far the most interesting wedding related part of this property is the Versailles Gardens and The French Cloister. The Cloister sits on top of a ridge on the northern side of the property. This 12th century Augustine monastery overlooks Nassau Harbour. It’s an amazing backdrop for weddings. The Ocean Club is one of the most exclusive and unique wedding venues in The Bahamas.
The Island House is a beautiful Boutique Hotel and Gathering Space. It is located on the western side of New Providence. This wonderful property features 30 rooms and suites, two restaurants and even a small cinema. An Island House Bahamas Wedding is sure to provide a unique Island elegance that is hard to find anywhere. .
The Cove Eleuthera is a paradise unto itself. This secluded luxury resort sits between two sandy Coves on the Island of Eleuthera. It is perfect for an intimate Out island wedding. The resort has 55 rooms, a spa, indoor and ocean front dinning options. The landscape is beautiful and pretty unique. Adjacent to the Coves are gentle grassy hills which lead up to cliffs over looking the sea. The sunsets are spectacular. The Cove Eleuthera is a amazing venue for weddings. I absolutely love shooting there.
Sapodilla Estate is a truly unique Wedding venue. This 7 acre Estate is located on the northwest coast of New Providence. The venue has a fine dinning restaurant and several ceremony location options. The Ceremony location options include: an elegant gazebo, Terrance and garden. Located in Great Exuma, Grand Island Resort and Spa is s great option for Bahamas wedding in a relaxed Family Island atmosphere. The luxury Villas this resort gives it a home away from home feel. Grand Isle Resort is perched a top a gentle slope over looking the turquoise waters of Emerald Bay. Adjacent to the resort is a Greg Norman designed golf course. The White sand beach is the perfect location for weddings and outdoor events like bonfires.
Located in the heart of downtown Nassau the British Colonial Hotel is one of Nassau most historic landmarks. This charming property has just been reopened after a major renovation. Fun Fact this hotel was the filming location of two James Bond movies. There is a nicely manicured lawn at the rear of the property. There’s also a small beach. Outdoor and indoor reception options are available. The lobby area has a wonderful staircase great which is great for group photos or portraits. One of my favorite features of this resort is it’s rooms. Many have very large windows and light colored interiors that creates a great natural light environment. I’m always excited to capture preparation photos at this hotel. If you would like to stay in the downtown area this hotel is a great wedding option.
The Balmoral Club sits at the heart of one of on Nassau’s finest gated communities The Balmoral. Available for weddings and events it is surrounded by lush greenery and the interior has a relaxing ambiance. My favorite features is the spiral stair case that ascends to the main level of the Club. There’s also a very large grassy area adjacent to the club. It’s prefect for super large group or outdoor wedding ceremonies.
Valentines Residences, Resort & Marina is a beautiful luxury resort on Harbour Island. Harbour island is the little paradise famous for pink sand beaches. It's located near the northern part of Eleuthera Island. To get there, you fly into Eleuthera and then take the short ferry ride over to Harbour Island. Valentines resort features well manured grounds and beautiful pastel colored buildings that blend perfectly into the Island environment. This resort is perfect for an intimate Island wedding event. It has a marina, gourmet dinning, a spa and a dive center. A Valentines Resort Wedding is sure to give you a true taste of paradise.
Located in Treasure Cay Abaco Bahama Beach Club sits on one of the nicest beaches in the country. I’m from Eleuthera so I know a thing or two about nice beaches. The water is just gorgeous. This is one of my favorite venues for family island beach weddings. If you’re looking to have an Out Island wedding this may be a great option. Bahama Beach Club resort was heavily damaged by Hurricane Dorian in September 2019. It was fully rebuilt and is open for business.
Pelican Bay Hotel is a boutique hotel located in Port Lucaya adjacent to the Port Lucaya Market Place. The Hotel sits at the edge of the water overlooking Bell Channel Bay. I’ve shot several weddings at Pelican Bay and I love the unique style, greenery and intimate feel of the property. It’s one of my favorite Grand Bahama wedding venues.
Club at Old Fort Bay began it’s life as a British Fortress in the 1700s. It’s located within the gated community of Old Fort Bay one of Nassau most exclusive waterfront communities. This elegant venue is filled with Old world charm. It sits atop a ridge overlooking a beautiful white sand beach. There’s a direct view of the westward setting sun from the beach. I’ve photographed several weddings at The Club and gotten some of my favorite images there.
If yo are planning a traditional Church based Greek Wedding, Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church will be your go to venue in Nassau. This wonderful little sanctuary is in the heart of downtown Nassau. I’ve photographed several Traditional Greek Wedding ceremonies there. I always love the results. The Church has an artistic interior. The decor and stained glass windows make for great lighting when the sunlight hits them.
