Kevin and Amanda’s stunning Eleuthera Wedding was one of my favorites of 2014 . Anyone that has followed my work knows this particular destination is very special to me because it’s the island where I grew up. Anytime I get shoot in Eleuthera it’s a treat.
Quite often I would begin these blog entries on by describing how gorgeous the weather was. Well things were a little different on this particular day. When I arrived at Kevin and Amanda’s beach house the sky was grey and there was light rain fall. Usually when it rains in the Bahamas it’s done in 15 to 25 minutes. I told Amanda not to worry about the rain and began the pre ceremony photography. Almost an hour later it was pouring! Never the less we made our way to the wedding ceremony site at Sky Beach Club.
Due to the rain the ceremony was held at Pascal’s Restaurant which over looks the ocean. It rained during the whole ceremony however as the ceremony ended something amazing happened. The rain and clouds left as quickly as they arrived and the sky was clear blue. As it had not rained in days. The couple had their first dance to live music played by the band and Pascal’s then we hit the beach and got some awesome photos.
